Shayne Smith
Insurance and Financial Advisor
I am a financial advisor who was recruited in 1996 by London Life after completing college. I believe that financial planning is about more than just a piece of good advice or investment returns. It’s all about providing the guidance that people can trust on. I can proudly say that I have some great experience and skills in this field. As a reward of my hard work and dedication, I was also qualified for the Elite 30 conference, a conference for top advisors in the insurance and investment industry.
I believe that getting education related to it is important. My academic background includes all the courses and certifications that are required to be a good financial advisor. I went to the college to study accounting diploma and I also got my life licensed qualification program the Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and I have done continuing education credits to keep licensing. Along with these things, I just recently completed Introduction to Tax Preparation course from the Knowledge bureau.
Along with being a financial advisor I like to play hockey, golf and go for hunting. These things are my hobbies that I mostly do in my leisure time. I have an amazing family as I am happily married with five children.
